Getting the urge to make a video where I just go through every PopCap game I can get my hands on and figure out how many of their franchises are connected together through references and easter eggs.

Putting something like "I promise this is interesting" in the thumbnail of a YT video just sorta turns me off of wanting to watch it. Like, if it's so interesting, you should present it in a way that gets me interested instead of just telling me "trust me bro, it's real interesting".

The way AO3 handles fandoms bothers me sometimes. Like, the anime and game versions of the same series are considered different fandoms. Different iterations in the same series are considered different fandoms. I feel like they should have the overall fandom, and then, like, subfandoms under it.

This feels like the opposite of what people keep telling me online.

I went through and checked. I have 82 events to still read through. 🙃 And they release a new one every couple weeks. Chat, I may be cooked.

Love getting attached to smaller characters who have barely any fan-made content available for them after exhausting the tiny amount of canon content, and not having the time to make my own to try and fill that void. 🙂

I like that sometimes they'll have base Miku show up sometimes to speak to you directly as if you have some sort of role in the story (you don't).

Thinking about how rhythm games need to make certain charts fit into a certain difficulty level, so they'll just throw in more complicated note patterns even when nothing in the song justifies those patterns.

I feel like I've made a mistake by making characters with animal ears (and no human ears) and then placing them in a context where they would absolutely need to use headphones.

You can only really work to close a gap in your knowledge once you've identified that the gap exists in the first place. Preemptively identifying those gaps before you run headfirst into them is a skill in and of itself. A skill that I do not possess. 🙂

Y'know, I was thinking yesterday that I didn't really get why Big AI cares so much about their models speaking human language when I feel like a machine that understands human language would be way more useful, but it makes sense when you realise they don't want you to leave their ecosystem.
