Today's painting with the reference. I dropped water on this sky too. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I only noticed after I'd painted the rest of it. So I rewet the sky and filled in the messed up part. There's also accidental paint splatter birds, because you can't have dark specks in your sky. 😂 #watercolorlandscape

I'm not sure I love how changing up the colors of this sunset ended up, but being back in the office is really limiting my painting time, so it will have to do! #watercolorlandscape

Today's painting, with the reference. I had a bit of a catastrophe while painting it, by which I mean I dropped water right in the middle of my carefully painted sky. I went back with a second layer and managed to end up with something halfway decent... but the ugly phase was scary with this one!

I'm not sure I'll make the switch to Blue Sky entirely, but here I am. Watercolor landscape (mostly) artist by night and office worker bee by day. I'm a self taught artist, so as long as you're not expecting master level works out of me, you won't be disappointed. 😁
