Privileged today to host the inaugural Talking Science debate @vicephec.bsky.social where we debated skills and content in UG chem degrees, the role of greater standardisation of degrees and how HEIs could help to ensure a healthy pipeline of applicants. What a fabulous energetic audience!

We're making a real effort this year to encourage people to come to #ViCEPHEC25 the day before the academic programme starts. Wednesday is a relaxed time where people can mingle and decompress from their journey. But if you want to go into the abandoned train tunnels (NOT haunted) that's cool too.
