I’m reading “A Well-Trained Wife” by Tia Levings and the vision for America preached at Douglas Wilson’s church and schools in Moscow, Idaho is very scary.

Most surprising thing to me about Tia’s story so far (74%) is the role Eastern Orthodoxy played in her regaining her voice. I’ve tried to explain in my own story as challenging me and providing me with an entirely different worldview which let me break out of the box of fundamentalism.

Why are so many Trumpers still being so nasty? Because evangelical theology is to insist people agree with you, and that minority vote/smaller margin is driving them crazy. It wasn’t enough to win; they want dominion.

We are the checks and balances, the loudest one left. Our refusal to normalize and accept the unacceptable, our pressure on Congress, our speech and content…this is how Donald discovers how unpopular he is.
