Using libraries and frameworks made/contributed to by others give you super powers, but auto updating them is a massive risk blog.phylum.io/python-crypt... Be very careful to enable 'auto update' on server built/deployed software: in this case the changes were not in the source on git even!

I’ve read several times now that Bluesky doesn’t have a real algorithm, so likes here don’t do anything beyond showing your appreciation to the creator. The only way to boost something for others to see is through reposts. It feels like social media back in 2008—good times. Much healthier.

I’ve hit 200 followers in just 4 hours! I remember when I first started on Twitter, years ago, it took me ages to reach the same milestone. Bluesky seems to be buzzing right now, with tons of interesting people joining. I hope it stays this way. Indie Makers need a solid alternative to Twitter
