The thing I was not expecting about AI, although really should have, is how much psychological stuff was programmed in. That sort of thing has been going on for a long time though. Just look at other algorithms...they're designed to keep people using whatever it is.

I've been trying to incorporate more movie watching as I'm going through this super stressful experience of jugging work, visits with my mom, taking care of my mom's cats, and everyday life stuff. Been watching old Michael J. Fox films.

In other news, I helped my neighbor's mama cat get to the local humane society so she can get spayed and her kittens can get into the adoption program. The tiny tuxedo kitten ran me around my deck for an hour trying to catch him. Never underestimate how long it will take you to catch a kitten.
