Quick update: Recovery still going well. Pain is down by a large amount. Able to move around, walk etc. Just can't lift anything or be "to active". Switched over to Tylenol and still feeling fine. No longer at pain levels where I need the hard stuff anymore.

I can deal with the post surgery discomfort. What I can't deal with are the sad puppy noises my dogs are making as they sit by the pet gate keeping them from un-fixing my guts.

Day 1 of recovery. Thought I'd be a tough cookie and get by without the pain meds they gave me. Yeah that was a mistake.

Surgery was successful and I am still alive. Only downside is I cannot pickup or interact much with the pups the next month.
