Everyone's has their own opinions on the pokemon stat system. But generally I think natures and EVs are good ways of individualizing pokemon while allowing for customizability for those who know how they work, but IVs are just a net negative in the series in nearly every way.

Y'know it's interesting how theoretically casual pokemon players should care less about strength and just use whatever since these games aren't that hard. And yet most people tend to gravitate towards pseudo legendaries and mons like excadrill, chandelure etc.

One big thing I gotta give Legends ZA over Arceus is stealth is much more thought out. You can only back strike if a pokemon doesn't know you're there and you can't just cheese everything with berries. Once you know the trick with Razz berries + gigaton ball, you can catch every alpha in PLA easily

Y'know, it's funny to think about how the only pokemon in Legends ZA's regional pokedex that don't have a mega evolution and aren't from generations 1, 5 and 6 are Ariados, Roserade, Hippowdon and Deliberd.

I think there’s something happening more often lately where algorithms and corporations will push certain things on to people, make the alternatives harder to access and then go: “See? this is what people want!!!” When thats only half the story.
