Anyhow, it turns out that I now think 3 hours is a very reasonable and healthy amount of time to spend thinking about elections in any given quarter.

I think I've maybe spent 3 hours this fall thinking about this year's Calgary municipal election (about 1% as much as usual), which is almost certainly a direct consequence of various anxiety management activities I've been engaged in this year, which is at least mildly interesting to me.
