This is what I get for posting early in the morning before coffee. The Kickstarter is rescheduled for the 24th, not the 17th.

It wouldn’t be one of my projects without a hiccup! I underestimated Kickstarter's verification requirements for the campaign and my identity. Up to 10 business days, they say! So, I’m pushing the launch to March 17th. I’ll use the time to tweak a few things and make the campaign even stronger.

I’m in seat 3D, which is way better than being flattened into 2D, but not quite as good as 4D. Without the element of time, I’m worried I’ll just be stuck at the gate forever.

Breakfast at a terminal restaurant with my earbuds in. I turned off the music as I walked out so I’d hear and respond to anyone who talked to me. Soon as I hit the button I heard a gate change announcement. Instead of the gate all the way down at the end, it’s the gate next to the restaurant! Score!

I read an article this morning that said TSA PreCheck would be shut down because of the funding fight going on in DC. Luckily, it’s still open at HOU. Got through security in mere minutes. Hour and a half to takeoff!

4/5ths of my books - there's another bay to the right, but I can't stand far back enough in the room to get the whole thing. The book wall is something like 13 feet long. Why am I opening Multiversity? This is why. I love this stuff.

It's been a minute since the last time I posted here - social media has never been my strong suit 🫣 Plans for the store continue apace! Heading for a grand opening around August. Right now I'm gearing up for Winter Institute in Pittsburgh later this month (my first bookseller conference!).

We had our first event yesterday! It was so much fun! I should have gotten more pictures, because the booth looked even better as it went on, once I had some time to rearrange things. I have a ton of notes about what I need to do differently next time - December 13th!
