Denshattack! feels like a lost Dreamcast era game where the teams that made Sonic Adventure 2, Jet Set Radio, and Crazi Taxi all merged and this was the result. Coming from me that is a very glowing review. I'm at work now but I'm dying to play more.

If you're a hardcore PS1 fan I might not be blowing your mind here but holy shit Rapid Reload (Gunner's Heaven in Japan) is amazing! Its clearly heavily inspired by Gunstar Heroes with a little bit of Metal Slug. And one of the playable characters is named Axel Sonics which is a hell of a name.

My first SNK fighting game was the Genesis version of Fatal Fury 2 and my main was Kim Kaphwan. So maybe I'm in the minority but I am very excited to see him in City of the Wolves! Also there's no reason that Team Kim in KOFXVI can't be the three of them now!

12 characters in one year is nuts! My guess is October will be Fallen Rock and December will be a guest but probably not as shocking as Kenshiro. Maybe another Art of Fighting character (not technically a guest, I know) or even someone from KOF, Samurai Shodown, or Metal Slug.

I tend to never shut up about games I like so picking one I've never or rarely posted about is hard... Matrimelee, and the entire Power Instinct series, is incredibly underrated. I'd kill for a collection! ...I've probably posted about this before now that I think about it.

This doesn't fix all of the wrongs that they've been doing lately, but there are a lot of great games in this selection. I'm definitely gonna jump straight into Rita's Rewind.

In another "Caleb finally plays a Playstation game he knew he'd love" I just played Motor Toon Grand Prix 2 (released in the US without the 2 in the title) and it is blowing my mind! Each new track seriously made my jaw drop. Polyphony Digital should absolutely make a modern version!

My take on this is if you're still gonna get the game because he's just one guy on the team and not the figurehead or anything, sure I get it and I won't judge you for that. But you also can't blame people for having zero tolerance for him.

Playing Dead or Alive 5+ arcade mode on Vita with all of the dlc downloaded and its hilarious that each opponent has like a 50/50 chance to either be in a bikini or Santa Claus.

Has there been a good volleyball game since the NES? Both Kings of the Beach and Super Spike V-Ball are awesome, but I don't know about anything good after that. I just tried the volleyball in Dead or Alive Extreme Venus 3 and it was awful. Maybe one of the Mario & Sonic Olympic games?

Downloading games now. Get a Vita and hack it. It is extremely easy and it basically gives you access to the entire Vita and PSP libraries. You download everything straight onto the Vita, no PC needed. Highly recommended.

Everyone should play Rhapsody! The Switch version from a few years back is also excellent, and available physically. It seems like its still in print and available for $40 (and its packaged with La Pucelle: Ragnarok). Its great that its going to be even more widely available now. Hamster rocks!

You guys are doing a lot of dumb shit lately but at the very least I'd think if you wanted to sell a fight stick you'd make sure your big upcoming fighting game would not be blocked in over 130 countries first.

My conspiracy theory is that Sony will announce that they're not going to end physical game production and then everyone will celebrate a victory instead of condemning them for ending the Vita and PS3 stores and that was their plan all along.

The Avatar fighting game looks like a game I'd have a blast with for a weekend and then never touch again.

Official Evercade Physical Game Sharing Instructional Video

A guy just stopped me at work and excitedly asked "Did you see the Virtua Fighter news?" So I guess I'm the Virtua Fighter guy at work. That's pretty cool.

I don't own an Evercade yet but I plan to buy one soon. Maybe even a console and a handheld since they play the same carts. They are 100% physical and absolutely deserve our support! @evercade.co.uk
