How do people organise writing time when they’re not full-time? I thought I’d set Fridays aside for writing but it takes me so bloody long to get into it on the day. Might it be wiser to take a week off and focus entirely on writing? And hope that chronic pain/executive dysfunction don’t fuck it up?

Whenever I peek into places where authors talk about self-publishing, I panic and it immediately puts me off writing. It feels exactly like I did when I was looking into advice for live streaming. I just wanted to do a thing but everything connected to it bloomed into a looming mountain of dread.
