Two fresh cans this week.

The latest beer to make a welcome appearance back on the canning line is the mighty Orkney Blast. One of Rob's original beers, and the first of those we've put into a can, Orkney Blast is named after Orkney's WW Forces' newspaper of the same name. It's a deceivingly drinkable 6.0% strong ale.

We’ve six tanks full of beer this weekend. For various packaging formats next week. Scapa Special Orkney IPA Island Hopping Orkney Blast Scapa Bere Summer in Winter Also Fridays are for cleaning.

Low Roller is fresh off the canning line this week. Our 4.9% IPA featuring Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Available on the website, direct to trade and via Sellar (message us for the link).

Newbarns have teamed up with some of the best breweries in Scotland to produce a series of collabs in time for Burns Night. L-R: North Boat, session IPA with @swannaybrewery.com Oat Malt Stout with Epochal Sea Weed Blanche, witbier with Futtle Berry Bogle, Berliner weisse with Holy Goat.

First brew of 2025 today. We did 96 brews in 2024 - two more than 2023. Confident we’ll beat that number this year.
