I think Happiness is a very good, very 'American' movie. So to speak. It really captures the spiritual malaise. It is hard to recommend though. I think a lot of people would be filtered out by the sort of cognitive ballet you have to do being simultaneously empathetic and horrified while watching.

I think The Movie Orgy is prolly one of my fave experiences this year. It is rare you see a movie that is so dissected it becomes conceptual art. Started funny but then grows this existential feeling of dread that reminds me of skinamarink. And the endurance of it all. 5 whole hours.
