So the spicy chili oil I made from the garden peppers is effectively a chemical weapon when used to make latkes. We’ll chalk this one up to a “Learning Experience.”

Elsie is home now and she is exploring everything nose-first.

My late uncle was a brilliant photographer. He was also about as gay as it is possible to be. I have inherited a huge cache of photos of muscular athletic young men in the minimum of clothing. It’s artistically brilliant? And it is a great historical treasure. But I don’t know how to preserve it.

As far as Star Wars demos go, I do think that my favorite demonstration of Star Wars technology is from the justly underrated “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” movie where they are geeking out over a little lightsaber kitchen knife that will slice bread AND toast it at the SAME TIME…
