this is my hot take like... the 1st step for the new relic stage is actually fun and well designed. Like "wahh why does my battle relic require crafting" just buy it. Just buy the mats. Theyre like 100k each. They're piss easy to make. Do you not have 600k? You don't deserve a relic. Play the game.

Nostalgic or not I would kill for a stormblood private server tho. I'd even settle for HW/ShB. Or even endwalker so I could spend more time with the black mage I didn't know I had until it was gone u.u Dawntrail just sucks so bad man. I have zero faith for 8.0. I dread the media tour leaks.

i dont care that the new step requires crafting, gil, and gemstones. I think thats funny, and I think its novel. Just the fact that they outright SAY they dont want to use the exploration zone the relics were MADE for in this step is just, a major fuck you

this new relic step is beyond garbage. forced to grind casual content for it (cant fill light with extreme+ content), can't even farm in OC for it (lol??? do they just want their own content to die), and is only a one time grind so YKNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!! MORE FUCKING TOME GRIND!!
