#Moodle peeps: I have 2 user profile fields (with same settings), both drop down lists, with a default value set. neither appear on the user facing new account page. When a user creates an account, 1 of the fields gets populated in user_info_data but the other doesn't. Any ideas?

Interesting talking to oldest son (final year at uni) who tells me the standard behaviour is when it comes to creating a reference list, rather than referencing the actual sources they have used, they just use AI to suggest a list, and then blindly copy and paste the list into their assignment

In my attempts to make #Moodle multilingual, I need to increase char limit (from 255) on Activity names. I have done this at database level, so I can have names longer than 255, but if I then try and edit activity later, the interface stops me, as 255 limit still applied. How can I change this?
