Yesterday, 3 of my MA students and 1 of my PhD students @brigittabeck.bsky.social gave an amazing symposium at #RMPA2025 in Denver! Had a packed room too! Then, my 2 Senior Honors Thesis students presented posters on their preliminary results at their first conference! Proud mentor over here. 😄

First-Year MA student Ellie McLane just gave her first conference symposium talk at #RMPA2025! To no one’s surprise, she crushed it! Her 2nd talk will be at 11 am tomorrow focused on #trauma with 3 other members of @mpwrlab.bsky.social for those attending the conference!

We are happy to announce that 2 of our members recently won UCCS awards! Brigitta Beck (3rd-year PhD) won the award for Outstanding PhD Student for our Trauma PhD program, and Christina López González (2nd-year MA) won the Outstanding MA Student for our Clinical MA program. Kudos to both rockstars!

Very excited to announce that several of our grad student members: Ellie McLane, Britta Beck, Shantel Horne, & Christina López González had their #trauma #research symposium accepted by the RMPA for their annual conference in April! We are so proud of you continuing to fight the good fight!
