Over time, I’ve come to accept that my doctor is younger than me, my dentist is younger than me, my plumber is younger than me, even one of my presidents is younger than me. But the idea that the Pope is younger than me is going to take a shift in my thinking. God help me!

If it’s wrong now, it was wrong then. I don’t remember this at all. Shame on me. The question is, what is “due process?”

I know the mention of Morning Joe brings hostile reaction, but there is something worth watching today. April 30 marks the 50 yr anniversary of the fall of Saigon. Col. Jack Jacob is interviewed at 40min into the first hour. The Medal of Valor recipient recalls those days. It’s worth your time.

I was struck by something the new Canadian Prime Minister said in his victory speech the other night. He said, among other things, “…we must care for each other.” How simply Canadian and antithetical to American dog eat dog, me first thinking. We could learn much from our northern neighbors.

I wouldn’t use the word, obsequious, exactly, but lordy lordy, Joe Scarborough’s interview with Border Czar Tom Holman was a major disappointment. For all his pompous blathering on his own show, I expected him to lay into Mr Czar. It didn’t happen Joe’s hot air has apparently disappeared.
