A brief overview...

Bookji’s founder, Will, shares his own story of struggling with reading growing up. Many students today face a similar challenge, with fewer young people reading for pleasure than in the past.

Only 14 percent of 13-year-olds reported reading for fun “almost every day” in 2023, compared to 27 percent in 2012. Among nine-year-olds, the figure fell from 53 percent in 2012 to 39 percent in 2022.
