I finally finished my projects of adding face and eye tracking to the quest 3 still a bit much in terms of cables but wanted to make sure that everything would be easy to service and disassemble if needed. Powered by a USB battery bank that I have on my hip strap

This came out sweet! I have some travel plans soon and needed a way to bring my @htcvive Ultimate Trackers. Found this model online but modified with a storage bin and added a single usb charger that lets the trackers charge via the bottom pogo pins.

Tested last night to promising results. Will need to try out a beta branch of SlimeVR to tweak further. The headset and HTC Ultimate trackers work as fixed 3D positional points for hip and feet and head. Then using SlimeVR to fill in the gaps for chest and knees. Initial results were very promising

XMas Gift that so far from 1.5 hours of use, I am impressed! I know they tend to be hit and miss for folks but for me so far they worked really well!

Hand tracking on Quest 3 V72 is much better imo. A slot smoother and useable finally.

I feel different tonight. A weight has been lifted. A 5 year battle comes to close today. But the war will never end. Feeling incredibility optimistic though that things will continue to get better. My Crohns has finally gone fully into remission for the first time since my diagnosis.

Randomly started doing a journal last week & a friend turned me onto this app. Exactly what I'm looking for to organize my thoughts/life in general beyond just the journaling. It's a bit of a complicated app, but has a lot of customization. FYI you can do your own sync without paying. obsidian.md

Sometimes you pick the paths you want to go down, other times you are pushed. Starting out 2024 in an interesting matter with now being back on the job market. Going to use this time off as a bit of reflection and explore as much opportunity as I can.

Grem updates for tonight: -Rebuild leather clothing and latex suit materials and toggles. -Add backfacing to goggles and jacket.

Been rebuilding my gremlin from scratch more or less the past month and finally pushed it out. Got a very poor quest version too. Lots of optimization done, resulting in only a 20mb download and less then 70mb of vram usage. Added some better eye reflections in this picture.

Late night project of combining my ZaWoo jacket/hoodie with the default Toastador one. I liked the hood and string better on the default and the ZaWoo Hoodie was only the center part. Not a complete piece of clothing. Combined all 3 into 1 skinned mesh render + new blendshapes for toggling.

Day 2 of the Quest 3 and managed to find STL's for adapters to get the Bobovr strap to work. The strap/facial interface are improvements over the the original, but that was a pretty low bar. Haven't been able to use the headset much the since I got since the stock stuff is pretty bad for me.

Spooky Month is almost here and just finished my theme'd outfit! One of my favorite things with VRC is being able to do quick and fun little things like this.
