I've been using the Derwent inktense paint palette #02 for my recent painting experiments, and I'm in LOVE. I can layer and blend like watercolor, but each layer dries permanent and won't be washed out with subsequent wet layers.

I think when people hear "mental disorder," they forget that brains are physical organs and these conditions are, indeed, physical in nature. "Mental disorder" conjures an image of nebulous chaos that one can dismiss as imaginary or a moral failure as one sees fit.

I think reading books is a good way to develop greater empathy, especially if you read books about people who are very different from you. Novels are great for this, but history too, especially if it's well-written
