Sad boy Dante. Some days I do feel down or lacking in motivation due to one reason or another. I can’t control how I feel, but I can control how I react to my own feelings. I name them. I sit with them and journal them. Then I get on doing the things that I know make me feel better.

What are you grateful for today?

“If we never try, we shall never succeed” —Abraham Lincoln I try daily to be an active participant in my own life, rather than a passive one. I don’t hope that the future I want for myself happens, I make choices every day to try and create that future.

I used to have a mentality of “if I can’t do my whole workout, why bother” but I realized how self-sabotaging that is. Anything is better than nothing, even if it’s just a little.

It's very easy to lose sight of progress, but don't forget to take stock and be proud of how far you've come.
