Got a wee bit of spin time in today on my Jaunty-Along project. Now off to do some knitting. 😄

Started a new project today. This is for a Spin to Knit Along that Andrea Mowry and Daedalus are hosting together. The end goal is the Jaunty shawl. Colorway is Avenue by Inglenook Fibers.

Finished another spindle in my Jenkins Rainbow along. Teal is finished on my Mopane Finch. Now I'm going to circle around and spin the yellow and green. I had spun these colors previously, but sadly lost the spindles. Next up is Yellow on a Kingwood Finch. Rainbow braids - Greenwood Fiberworks

This tablet weaving project has been quite the challenge but it has brought me so much joy! This is the finest thread I’ve woven with to date and getting the gradient just right across the warp added an extra layer of difficulty, but well worth it!

I’m working on a new project with Penelope, Rainbow Hearts. 12 mm wide band made of Aunt Lydia Crochet Cotton 10 5 mm wide band made of Lizbeth Thread Size 80

I’ve had this project in mind from the moment I got my hands on the Penelope band loom. These are my very first handwoven shoelaces! They are a perfect match with my Allbirds.

Sweater progress is going well! I’ve reached the point where I will be sectioning off the arms and starting in on the body with the gradient. I’m so excited to see how the gradient develops.

My second sweater is well on its way! I’m feeling a lot more confident this go around. I’m thankful for all my tools that help make projects like this go smoother and add an extra flair of fun.

I’ve been prepping for my next sweater project out of this gorgeousness from @thebluebrickish. With all the yarn all balled up with the Daedalus Roly-Poly, the next step was to swatch. 🧶

The Sunflower Field singles are done! The next step was to join the singles together. I intentionally left the beginnings and ends of each copy fluffy so that I could spin splice the ends together for a continuous yarn. youtu.be/QbBbLJy5OVY

OH MY SQUEEE!!! I’ve been waiting for this yarn ever since @thebluebrick.bsky.social told me she was doing a bug themed sock box. It was so worth the wait! Rosa Latte the spider, helped me unbox… told her it was a box full of bug yarn… NO Rosa it’s not bugs to eat… 🧶

Today I received quite the surprise! @roguewovens.bsky.social sent me this incredibly adorable jumping spider plushie!!! I’m contemplating naming her Rosa Latte (after her pink fangs and latte colored fluffs. She’s absolutely precious!

A dear friend of mine reminded me the other day that my fibery photos bring her a lot of joy. It’s been difficult to find joy lately with the rough road my life has taken over the past several months, but I cherish knowing that my photos can bring even a little spark of light to others around me. 🧶

I need some help picking out what I should work on next from my outstanding list of Spinning WIPs. I want to pick out one spindle project and one @daedalusspinningwheels project. I have ⭐️ the potential projects.
