Had a blast seeing Franz Ferdinand at House of Blues last week. Used my AirPods Pro 3 in transparency mode and the sound was AMAZING and I could even have a conversation with my friends. I have pretty good hearing but have a hard time having a conversation in a loud environment sometimes.

Saddened to hear that Jane Goodall has passed. Truly an inspirational woman who has long been a hero. May her memory be a blessing.

The iPhone 17 Pro did very well in the "hot day in a theme park" battery and thermal management test. I charged up around dinner time to give myself a bit of a cushion but probably could have made it without.

Made two purchases at Disneyland that I asked them to ship home. It's a bit further away, obviously, so I knew it would take a while but it's been more than a week and they just gave them to UPS today. Is that the norm out there? WDW usually has it out the door in a day or two.

I did not see many people carrying these around. Growing up, the Philly Zoo had zoo keys which you used to turn on a little box that played audio about each animal exhibit. This kinda reminded me of that, except they were like 3 bucks. 😂

I will also be returning to my original color scheme.

New favorite phone charger for a day in the parks. Small, fairly lightweight, and the built in retractable cable is very convienent. Fast to charge your phone and when recharging itself.

This is my favorite spot in Disneyland. You’ve got the howling wind and clink clank of the Matterhorn, Jack Wagner asking you to stay seated, the cacophony of sounds from Alice and the teacups, and the monorail sounding its horn. And today they added the marching band!

I really enjoyed Tapestry of Happiness. It's a projection show on the It's a Small World facade that celebrates Disneyland's 70th anniversary. There are a ton of throwback details and I need to go back and watch to see how many I can find! 🎥
