The Artemis II landing made me tear up. As a San Diegan I'm extra proud because how beautiful did that look? That's my coast, baby! The astronauts seemed like a special group this time around as well.

My favorite snake sighting was a rosy boa ~2 yrs ago. Shiny red-orange, really round body, just amazing. Like the holy grail of wild snakes.

The weather has been perfect for hiking and it's snake season, which I enjoy. I've seen a snake every day. Just little garter snakes so far. I haven't seen a rattler since I almost tripped over one last year. That was a jolt to my system.
