Happy Luciversary 😈🕵️‍♀️ It’s ten years since the pilot for our little devil show landed. Who knew a TV show could bring so much joy and peace, friendship and healing. It will always have a special place in my heart.

Shoulder update: Managed a full shift yesterday 🎉Physio did warn I might get a headache post physio and I have a blistering one ATM. Hey ho, baby steps.

Congrats to Meaghan and her band of crazy writers… Tell Me Lies is No1 in the Disney+ UK top ten this morning when I opened the app.

Damn, I’m loving the distraction that is dissecting the first three episodes of the third season of #TellMeLies. So much to unpack, already so incredibly messy. I’m so glad we’ve seen Wrigley in 2015… his repeated mention of suicide, whilst understandable given his guilt & grief, is worrying me.

Okay, going to say this now, after the first three episodes of #TellMeLies… I am firmly in Team Wrigley. I need to see him happy and safe at the end of this season.

Shoulder Update: Made to realise some home truths today. Called out on not admitting how painful it is. The injury is near the route of the vagus nerve so other symptoms to look out for. Bursitis is still a problem but better than it was. Got some physio to do now. So drowsy today post physio.

I need to watch those three episodes of S3 TML again just to catch as many of the nuances as possible. I’m here for Bree & Wrigley building their friendship. Alex, Stephen & Oliver can all get in a toxic waste bin #TMLHulu

Shoulder update: I do not like the popping and cracking that is happening with my shoulder. I am easing back into work with half days. My shoulder is sore in the later half of the day so half days for now… but I’ll take the partial progress

Shoulder update: Injection has meant I can stop taking the Tramadol - I call that a win. Today I’ve been out driving, doing lots of junctions, for around 30mins. Shoulder is a little uncomfortable/numb but I can tolerate it. That’s positive progress.

Watching the Bowie documentary on Channel Four… sobbing. I remember listening to Black Star the whole weekend after it was released & wondering what the true message was… then the news broke & I sobbed. His death quickly followed by Alan Rickman hit me hard.

Shoulder Update - I’ve had the steroid injection now we wait and see if it helps resolve the inflammation. First proper physio session booked for 13th January.

Got the results of my shoulder ultrasound scan. Thankfully no evidence of a tear. However, there is significant bursitis & tenosynovitis 🥲 which is likely to require steroid injections. Seeing the MSK specialist on Tuesday to discuss next steps. It’s 9 wks since the accident 😢😢😢

Shoulder update: had the scan on my shoulder today. Can’t rule out torn rotator cuff ATM because there’s still too soft tissue is still inflamed with bursitis 😭 See what GP says later in the week.

Shoulder update: Still having to take tramadol 😢 still feel like it’s one step forward three steps back. Range of movement is still compromised which is annoying. Here’s hoping the scan on Monday shows what’s happened 🤞

Shoulder update: Physio is almost certain the rotator cuff has a tear. Waiting on an urgent scan to make a definitive diagnosis. Added an extra stretch but I can’t do many repeats before the pain hikes up. Still not sleeping for more than five hours when I go to bed - sigh

Having thought my shoulder was making progress this afternoon has been utter agony 😩 After lunch I did my physio and it was clicking a bit but when I moved to turn a page over in the book I’m reading ATM… damn the pain brought tears to my eyes. Feels like 1 step forward 3 steps back ATM 😭

Gawds, I am an awful patient. I have also realised that being middle aged means I don’t bounce back as quickly as I used to. I hate this mix of frustration and depression it sucks.

Had my first physio session today. Physio has drawn the same conclusion - I’ve either torn the cartridge in my joint/I’ve torn my rotator cuff 🤮🤮🤮 My shoulder was shaking after he’d finished the manipulation & I’d gone through the exercises. Seeing him again on the 14th

Gawds, I hate having an injury that stops me from doing normal every day stuff like folding clothes, putting them away. It sucks.

Unexpected trip to the urgent treatment centre at work this afternoon after falling base over apex from my chair and my right shoulder took the brunt of it. Not broken but badly bruised and hurts like hell now the adrenaline has worn off.

Let the one year count down begin… LuciFam we are going to have an awesome weekend celebrating our little devil show.

Went to watch The Thursday Murder Club with Mum today. OMD, great cast. Lovely moments of laughter to balance out the poignant moments. Really good adaption of the book. Looking forward to watching it again on Netflix

*whispers* I’ve been an AP for eight months… think I’ve finally got rid of 12.5hr shifts. I have no rostered nights/long days during August or September. Finally, after 21 years of the damn things.
