Week 7 1/20 This week, I started back at the Latin American Arts and Ancient American Arts. I wanted to see a bit more of the historical arts again, since last week I was mainly in the Contemporary Art exhibit.

Week 6 1/20 This trip, I wanted to start out with the Hamilton Building instead, and then try to look back at the other floors of the main building. The first exhibit that I am on is the 1800s.

Week 5 1/20 Driving to the Denver Art Museum took off like 10 minutes on the ETA in comrparison to the MCA, so that is a great improvement on the trip time. Also, it's kind of ironic, my FSEM was related to Art in Health and Medicine, and we toured the Denver Art Museum as our trip too.

Week 3 1/20 1. How does the artist's choice of material(s) influence your reading of the work? The choice of Lee's materials influenced my reading of the work by compelling the viewer to have to take a closer look in between the picture frames and the paper that is blocking them...

Week 2 1/20 1. What is contemporary? Contemporary is related to how much of an idea or concept is current in the community or space it is involved in. Contemporary is associated with the majority of people who talk and engage with the idea or concept, as opposed to any set definition or standards.

@ellienakahara.bsky.social I really like your take on viewing Asian cultures together since we do have so much in common despite everything else that can be different. I agree, I think Lee's work was a great showcase of it.

Week 1 5/20 I wasn't able to use BlueSky as much as I wanted to during the visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art due to trying to balance looking at the art pieces and gathering thoughts about them. I'll plan the next visit better so I can post more authentically and in the moment. #ConArtinSitu

Week 1, 4/20 I liked the idea of the exhibit on the first floor where you could pull the artworks out from the metal shelves. I think it brought an aspect of interactivity that elevated engagement with the artworks inside. #ConArtInSitu
