Week 8 - Denver Art Museum I was able to go this week to the museum. The next piece I focused on was more related to my experience in South Korea. I went to the "Arts of Asia" exhibits, specifically the South Korean exhibit. #ConArtInSitu

Week 7 - Write Prompts 1. Is there such a thing as "normal" art? The Pool Ball Dress made me question whether "normal" art exists. A dress covered in pool balls seems unusual, but many artworks once did too. What we call "normal" often depends on the viewer's expectations. #ConArtInSitu

Week 7 - Denver Art Museum We went back to the Denver Art Museum for a third time. I was sick this week so I decided to focus on researching more about this particular fashion piece that caught my eye during the first visit. #ConArtInSitu

Week 6 - Write Prompts 1. Can a USB stick be a work of art? Sort of. Maybe not the USB stick itself, but the content that is held inside the USB stick can absolutely be a work of art. I think of a USB stick as the case that "protects" the artwork. #ConArtInSitu

Week 6 - Denver Art Museum I revisited the Chantet Lane painting this week. I viewed the painting from far away on a bench. The painting looks smooth, flawless, realistic. It feels like a portal to that location in Mexico more than a painting. A masterpiece. #ConArtInSitu

Week 5 - Write Prompts 1. How rapidly or slowly do the meanings in a work reveal themselves to you? Usually it depends on the piece. Though, the majority of the time the meanings in a work reveal themselves really slowly to me after I spend a long time examining the artwork. #ConArtInSitu

Week 5 - Denver Art Museum We are finally going to a new museum. I was excited to see how this museum would differ from the contemporary museum. #ConArtInSitu

Week 4 - Revisiting Previous Art I was sick on Wednesday when I was supposed to go to the contemporary art museum again. I am sad I missed the last visit to the art exhibit. #ConArtInSitu

A beautiful piece of art of symmetry. Very pleasing to the eye. I had sat and viewed this art piece for a few minutes to take in the art. #ConArtinSitu

Another eye catching piece "A la hora de naufragio y de la oscuridad, alguien, te rescatará" reminded me of breaking free of the darkness. Just as described by the artist, darkness collapse hierarchies of colors. #ConArtInSitu

"Segiumos Cantando" a stunning piece that really captured my eye. As soon as I turned the corner I was drawn to it. The vibrant pink colors of a waterfall. Very eye catching of a piece. #ConArtInSitu

Week 1 - Museum of Contemporary Art Denver Such an amazing experience. I have wanted to go to this museum for a few years now but have never had the time to visit. On the way to the museum there was traffic. It's raining now. Hopefully the ride back will be a calm one. #ConArtInSitu

As soon as I entered the museum... the "Dumpling Diaspora" art piece caught my eye. As someone with an Asian background I am always drawn to learn more about my culture. It showed the beauty of different Asian cultures TOGETHER, not apart, which is what is broadly heard in research. #ConArtInSitu
