Apple says ‘awe dropping’ but the announcements I saw today were more “meh-be”. Meh-be I’ll order, but probably not.

It was the whole network community, not just Wi-Fi. I was working on stuff that no one else on my team or company understood, so there was no one to discuss it with. Suddenly, here was a HUGE group of people who got it. Liked it, even. It is still amazing how much that impacted my career!

Can you imagine my surprise and disappointment when I realized the @Rode Rodecaster 'Pro' can't do better than 48kHz? While my ~8 year old @Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 can do 96kHz. Don't even get me started on the bluetooth capabilities...which is obviously designed for nothing more than POTS.

Our lexicon is defined by our experiences. So...if I'm picky about using 'array' to mean 'several of the same type', rather than 'several of several types' blame it on my experience writing code...and @radzima.bsky.social and @jsnyder81.bsky.social. But what do I know? I'm just faking this.
