I made a GIANT snail! I made another one not too long ago, but that got sent to my sister. Ares for scale.

The raccoon dragon in nature is an adapt hunter and fisher, however their opportunistic nature and omnivorous diet leads them to cause a ruckus in urban environments.

I made a mistake by forgetting hook size AND yarn size make a difference in how big something will turn out. I thought I'd make a snail twice as big and got a snail the size of a toddler. I love him. Catnip banana and original sized snail for scale.

Please double check your sources before sharing stuff, especially when it's an easy Google search away. I've seen a number of examples of false information today coming from sources I normally would trust. It just reduces credibility of the actual bullshit happening and doesn't do any good.

Current brain "fun activity": Every time I go to pee my brain goes "What if you're asleep?!" And I have to reassure myself I'm not about to pee the bed. I have not peed the bed since I was a small child. Why is my brain like this?

Lego is self care right now. This set took many, many hours, and that was time I wasn't doom scrolling. It's got so many tiny pieces of pure silliness and delight. There's a cosmic frog, whisks, forks, a crab for the crab nebula, flowers, hearts, diamonds, you name it. A true delight.

Putting together a Lego sets is always more interesting with cats involved. Luckily, Samwise didn't try to eat all the pieces this time. Just nibble on a couple.

I got these four sets from my sister for Christmas/my birthday, plus another two sets from my BIL, and another two from my husband, and two additional sets I bought myself. I am swimming in Lego and I don't know what to put together first. Lego sets are self care.
