My garden is usually a bit of an messy hodge podge but this little corner of colour made me smile today.

1/ At the start of the holidays, Cass and her children came up with a simple summer mantra: the 3 H’s – Happy, Healthy, Helpful. It’s a great way to shape the slower days of the break, especially if you’re missing the buzz of school life.

Cut me in half & I’m a KS2 teacher (mainly 6) though & through. But today when baking with my 5 year old, we really did learn through our ‘play’: subitising 12, finding arrays and ways to make 12, weighing ingredients, reading scales. Some of the Leadership team I work with would be proud 😂

Today was our World Book Day dressed as vocab. We had a vocab parade on the playground, shared books with our buddy classes & parents & enjoyed stories with our classes. We had such a fun day celebrating our love of reading 📖 (I went with a word that describes my usual state of being 😂) #lovereading

1/ A few years ago, we created our Monday Briefing Newsletter to cut down on email overload. 📩✨ It quickly became a detailed document —useful, but still too much information! Staff feedback was clear: we needed to do less better. We needed a way to streamline without losing key messages.
