Kieran Daly at @cafeotodalston.bsky.social last night was the best thing I've seen in years (rest of the line up was banging too). Rare to see something so committed (and so funny). A lesson that there is still road to travel in experimental music.

Probably most o' the heads know this, but Hundred Years Gallery have quite a remarkable selection of British improv, jazz, classical music & ethnographic recordings atm. Ridiculously cheap prices & 50% of the sale goes to Medical Aid for Palestine. No brainer.

I loved their debut, but this second album from Breathing Heavy (Sam Andreae and @ciaranmackle.bsky.social ) really brings their interaction to a new level of frenzied cohesion... Live sax and reed samples tessellating like a flock of birds/hornets in the most bamboozlingly skronky way possible...😍

Re-upping this one after watching back for the first time in a while. A short (and rare) solo set from a few years back at Hundred Years Gallery. This felt like a culmination of whatever it was I was trying to achieve at the time. Dilloway plays Adam Bohman or something.
