Been seeing the reviews for the Analogue 3D and I'm not really that impressed. I'm honestly happier with my N64 + Retrotink setup and don't have to wait for my everdrive x7 to be updated to work. I think it's def an alright, alternative option for anyone not go the Mister/legit hardware route.

Trying to get a 19" monitor mount for my Arcade Cab mod has turned into an absolute fucking nightmare. I'm not going to name businesses but at a certain point, when 22 days have passed after a shipping label has been created... and it still hasn't been picked up... I start to doubt service.

I find it funny that Valve is now releasing a dedicated linux-based PC to general consumers. Especially after I spent the time purchasing a NUC, and manually flashing ChimeraOS onto it so I could basically have a 'Steam Machine' of my own for dedicated retro emulation. FML man, hahaha.

Diamond Plate is showing up tomorrow for the Riser Booster, so that'll be fun to work on in the short-term for the arcade cab. Also received my 12v wiring cables to test out wiring in my 4 HQ push chrome push buttons (1P, 2P, 1P Coin, 2P Coin) for my cab.

Yet another update on the modded arcade cab! I was able to figure out how to get Steam integrated with Batocera and now I have titles like Balatro, Demon's Tilt, and a few other arcade-like games on it. The amount of games and content that this has available for it, just increased like 1000x.

Modded Cab is coming along. Recently installed the Riser Booster for it so it's now 6 in higher than it was previously. Much better height to play while standing. New monitor mount is on its way, still waiting for the XL control Panel to ship out though. Been having a blast playing on it.

Been having a blast refining the gamelist on the Arcade cabinet and came across Viewpoint. Man this game not only has a unique aspect that you play from but the music and the game itself are SO addictive. Cannot recommend it enough for shmup enjoyers. #arcade #retrogaming

Man... it's been like 2 almost 3 weeks since I received my Arcade Cabinet and I haven't really been able to do any portion of the planned mods I have for it, due to having to wait for some of the essential bits to arrive. Hoping that I get updates by EOW on them shipping out, so I can start this.

I found more joy in life this way.

It's crazy to me how a single person can negatively affect the entire development of a project. Without going into specifics, the amount of working backwards that has to have been done on a project in my studio has been excessive.

Next project: Modding and 'upgrading' a MKII Legacy Cabinet from #Arcade1UP. I'm going to be putting a GMKtec mini-PC into this, along with new Joysticks, Buttons, 19" Monitor, LED Marquee, and maybe more. Not all at once, but it's main platform will be Batocera. Gonna be my at home arcade.

Returning to the city this week has made me realize how much I actually hate it. Noise. Pollution. Inconsiderate people. It's all there and always will be. Mountain/rural life is truly a blessing. I know one day it'll catch up to us, where we live, but for now I'll enjoy it.

Spent time visiting the parents for the first part of my Vacation. Was nice seeing the ol' family home. Found some old treasures, like the original Jumper pak from my N64. Tried finding my old copy of 007 Goldeneye but couldn't hunt it down.

Managed to order a s-video cable for my N64 for higher picture quality when going into my Retrotink. Also ordered another Brawler64 controller and rumble pak. Love having access to a modernized N64. Gaming on it is still authentic but just feels better with these slight additions. #retro

Staying up kind late but trying to be productive. Probably bad for me 😅 but I got in a before bed work out. 💪 Trying to get back into a fitness routine so I can feel better about my physical-self. Now all I gotta do is start working on knowledge building again. ✌️

Feeling pretty good plotting out events for the remainder of the year for our project. Already have September and October locked in basically, so just have Nov and Dec to plan and finalize. Hoping I can solidify plans into Jan 2026 so the team can focus on QoL updates and not worry about LO.

Found out there's a site that has proper game credits listed on it and my developer name was misspelt. Gotta love EA, even though we filled out forms to properly be credited at launch for FIFA14, my name was still spelt incorrectly. Submitted a correction request and it's been updated. ✌️

Really enjoying the amount of work the team is doing lately. Revamping specific sections of the game that haven't been touched for a long time, creating a new 'Event' system, figuring out better ways to scale our LiveOps tools, etc. It's amazing how driven a team can be with the right people. ❤️

Hooked up DOSbox-X to my EmulationStation-DE setup on my #RetroBox. So stoked to be able to play DOOM, WOLF3D, Jazz Jackrabbit, Crystal Caves, Rise of the Triad, Heretic, and more on this. Gamepad support as well, so I can still couch game comfortably. #Retrogaming
