“Super Nintendo” by @mackeza.bsky.social I flew through this read. As close to a “behind closed doors” of Nintendo as we’ll likely get (for some time). Equal parts interesting, nostalgic, and insightful, even for an enthusiast like myself. Brilliant chaptering — games as a lens into the company.

Stupid thought… Video games have entered their TV show era — Fortnite, Etc. Always on. Endless arcs (until canceled). Seasons. Forever. Must maintain/grow an audience. Bespoke titles equate to films. Finite experiences. Wide variety from niche to pop. Some tiny. Some huge. TV hasn’t killed film.

I’d like to get into journaling this year. - I’d prefer Mac, but would like the iOS option. - I like supporting indie devs focused on a single/few apps. - I don’t see myself using a bunch of integrations. (I log books in StoryGraph, and could see myself doing the same for games too.) Suggestions?
