I had to go to my son’s school today and help him make a model tank. This does not play to my strengths. To top it off I had to walk home in a thunderstorm without a coat!

My friend who passed away on Christmas Eve loved robins. Since her passing I’ve see a lot but today one came right up to me and Ralf on our walk. You may not believe In that stuff but I do and it made me emotional but, in a nice way.

I’ve been invited to a very posh wedding in the summer. The colour theme is pastel. I don’t wear pastel colours so, now I need to find a dress, bag and shoes. I’m rubbish at this sort of thing too.

I thought I’d make some healthy snacks so, I did the date thing with the almost butter, dark chocolate and sea salt that’s supposed to taste like snickers. It does and I’ve probably eaten so many I may as well of had an actual bloody snickers!!

I’ve been busy reading. In the last few weeks I’ve started the MJ Arlidge books. I’ve read 2 and I’m loving them. Probably more so because they are set in my home town. I’ve also finally read Ask for Andrea and Blood Orange. Now going more lighthearted with Katie Brent’s 3rd book.

Had a break from painting and went for a walk in the sun with Ralf

I’ve been thinking about my beautiful friend a lot these last few days. It’s 3 months today that she passed. This picture was taken a couple of days before her birthday at a spa day, just 4 months later she was gone. I miss her.
