Have seen more than one person suggest that the Pacers will be the truly memorable team from these NBA Playoffs, and I guess I just wonder, are y'all not capable of remembering two teams? It's only two!

Thunder were the best team all season. By most any statistical measure they were an elite team. But there was always the youth thing. Remarkable feat for a team set up for so much more down the road.

The Pacers in the fourth quarter just found out what it’s like to play the Pacers in the fourth quarter.

Things I did not expect in the Finals include the Thunder losing a game in which they made more 3s than the Pacers. Also didn’t expect OKC to be outscored in the paint, by 7 (!) off turnovers and by 31 (!!) off the bench.

The Thunder are finding out what it’s like to play the Thunder.

Caught up on The Last of Us over the weekend, and my takeaway was that this season was... OK? I never played the games, but it definitely feels like the TV show would have benefited from letting us get to know that other set of characters this season as opposed to waiting two years for that.

I love this moment and think about it a lot when the NBA discourse turns to star players and fouls.

Honestly, this feels so much more comfortable and familiar than the Celtics series. These things happen *to* the Knicks, not *for* the Knicks.

It’s very Oklahoma at playoff time that Damon Lane is coming on live every few commercial breaks and before he says anything about the weather he reassures “You’re not missing any of the Thunder game.”

Playoff time: I am six episodes behind on Andor and two on The Last of Us. Haven’t started the new season of Poker Face, and this new JJ Abrams show that starts tomorrow looks super cool. Might need a vacation just to watch TV.

Basketball is good, y’all. I feel sometimes like everything else is getting worse, but basketball just keeps on being good.

What a monster fourth. Hardly perfect execution from the Thunder, but staring down the Nuggets in a close game and winning could be huge for this group.

At some point, I will have another word for a playoff game than “unbelievable,” but it’s holding strong for now.

So, after a few days, some (not at all important) thoughts on Thunderbolts*. Is it a great movie? It is not. A great Marvel movie? Not quite. But it’s interesting. It takes a swing. Way more than we can say about recent Marvel stuff. It has a theme, and the theme is relatable to lots of us.

What a fun basketball game where the focus is on basketball.

Genuinely had no idea you could challenge on someone else’s timeout.

NBA has been fantastic today. Instant classic for the Nuggets and Clippers. Ugly game in Memphis, but the Thunder got a good push. And I had to be on campus early and really needed that nap during Cavs-Heat.

Thunder today hit 27 of 45 FGs in the paint (60%) and 14 of 49 FGs everywhere else (28.5%). Gross.
