1/5 Yesterday Council met to vote on plans for cuts (=redundancies) for this academic year. Today, Thursday 26 March at 2.30-3.30pm in PSH LG02, there will be another Campus Connect event where, we are told, an announcement will be made - though it is def not past our “leadership” to lie about it.

🚨 On 2 March 2026, our branch voted with 95% support to move to ballot for industrial action. On 9 March, the UCU Higher Education Committee authorised our ballot request, and notice was served to our employer. 🗳️ The ballot will run 16 Mar – 10 Apr 2026. Here's why we are doing it:
