Book 5 done, and holy shit did it not disappoint. Aaron Dembski Bowden knows how to write time-dilated action, as well as deep emotional moments. The vignettes of especially Land breaking on the frontlines were fantastic. #booklist #readinglist #siegeofterra #warhammer

I literally own one of these and look decent in it, this is the whole reason I’ve never worn it

Third book finished. John French is good at pacing, above all else. 546 pages and it didn’t feel that long. The only thing I’d complain about is that nothing was concluded: it feels like parts 2-7 of a ten part series, and makes the climax of the siege fizzle out.

Second book down! Dan Abnett remains my favorite author purely for his ability to write dramatic tragedy laced with cathartic personal victories. Worth mentioning is the fact that this book carries several object lessons in persevering through existential dread and hopelessness.

Look I’m glad everyone liked Arcane, the artistry and writing looks to have been superb, not to mention great queer characters. Can we stop letting Riot Games have a clean slate for all of the sexual harassment, racism, and cozying up to China and Russia because buff tragedy lesbian casts punch?

This is such a good example of this discord it’s genuinely frightening.
