New old car fact! The engine; at initial time of production, claimed to be the most efficient in its class. Wow! Now it’s 13 years old I guess that’s not as impressive but it does have two turbochargers and who doesn’t like a whooshy snail?!

Another day another car fact! So there’s this feature where if you are carrying a lot of stuff you can ‘pretend’ to kick the rear bumper and it opens the boot automatically for you. There’s no visible sensor under the car so I have no idea how this witchcraft works!

Day 2 of unusual features. For 2012 it has seat belt auto tensioning so when you buckle in it tightens in on you; this combines with pedestrian recognition and emergency braking!

I might try and highlight a feature a day for a little bit about my new old car. Day 1. Reverse parking camera- so this is quite common now on a lot of cars but mine also has two on the front bumper for surround view imaging. Fancy!
