For a long time, I shared fandoms with most of my closest friends, which means I always had people excited to read what I wrote, to beta, to brainstorm. Now I tell my close fannish friends, I wrote 17k words in the past 36 hrs, and they say, oh that's good for you, look at this video of a farrier.

One day I would really like to be the kind of person who can just write 500 words a day, or week, instead of having to sit down and bang out 15,000 words in 5 hours twice a year. I'm not complaining, it's a really good 15,000 words, it's just. Exhausting. I had other stuff to do today!!
