For those in the south of Scotland and north of England, there's a chance to catch AC member Mark Hallam discussing a selection of his climbing, skiing and paragliding adventures on some of the most iconic peaks in the Alps on 12 November in Langholm.

The 2025 UIAA Mountain Protection Award has gone to the FFCAM for their Flagship Shelters for the Environment project. This initiative makes fantastic use of mountain huts as sites for environmental education, illustrating sustainability issues using the challenges faced in the running of the huts.
