Gave the cats dried rabbit ears. Of course Bella and Dino are interested and they're actually munching on them. Meanwhile Mochi bothered me for one as well, also licked it .... and then just left it on the floor. I knew it.

Something that really surprised me is how freaking powerful zeolite powder is when you have to deal with cat diarrhea. At least with Dino - I didn't give it to him for 2 days since his appetite is up without any help and I can put the salmon oil directly on his food now. Diarrhea from hell.

I'm so happy right now. Injecting Dino went so smoothly today I only had to try once. I also freshened up his "haircut" a bit to clear all the space I can actually use. Maybe that helped too. It makes it harder to grip the skin but easier to see if the needle goes in correctly.

Thought I'd look at new transporting options for Bella so she has her own thing but ah man this never gets easier.

I really don't know where it all went wrong with Dino. He already developed the eye thing when I got him. Shouldn't I have taken him to the vet? Was that the issue? Because after that he suddenly showed neurological symptoms. But eventually you have to take a cat to the vet. It's inevitable.

Dino is behaving like a cat in puberty should behave and while it's sometimes annoying I'm glad he has the chance to get to this part of his life. Earlier I took a nap and he immediately climbed around on me bringing a toy along only to plop down next to my head and involve my arm in his playing.

I think Bella might be allergic to what she's getting for her throat after all. She had the fabric cone since Monday so no chance to scratch the ears and that's the spot where she's breaking out. I checked her over with the UV lamp but there is only a white glow in one spot.

I went to the pet supply store in the hope of getting already grown cat grass but nah they only had the same plant my cats aren't nibbling on. But I got adult cat food for Mochi that's from the same brand as Dino's kitten food because she likes his food so let's see...

Okay, finally something is working out well: The new needles I bought are just as long as they need to be and since they're a tiny bit thicker the injection goes in super smooth. With the smaller once I always find a bit of a resistance and I always wondered if that meant my angle was off.

Dino is giving me grief again. I was confused as to why he doesn't want to eat his food and tried the trick of just spoon-feeding him. Apparently if it comes from a human spoon it's good enough for the boy. I need this little guy to eat.

Woke me up from a nap by walking around on my legs and then settling down next to me to groom himself. He occasionally would also lie down against me to do it. A very sweet boy. Except when he suddenly bites. Ouch.

Alright, time to figure out what happened to Dino's new injection bag. There was supposedly an attempt to deliver it yesterday buuut .... maybe my doorbell is dead? That's not exactly something you can figure out quickly.

So I can manage to get one eyedrop into Bella's eye which is umm well, it's not nothing! But her eye is already looking a lot better so at least that's working out.

Oh great, the med supply shop I bought the syringes and needles from that I need for Dino's treatment used a shipping company that just does not deliver parcels if they don't feel up to it. I mean, I knew this already about them... but it stinks when it's something this important.

Additionally to an inflamed throat Bella now also has some sort of eye problem. I need to call the vet today anyway because the throat medication doesn't give her an allergic reaction so I can get more and I guess it doesn't hurt to ask if they have eyedrops for cats because Bella is difficult.
