I knew Twinless was filmed in Portland but I didn’t realize how much they leaned into the city as a set and didn’t shy away from saying “yes this is Portland”. It’s like here’s this fictional story set in a city and locations that are not fictional to those of us that live here.

A few of my favorite shots from Rose City Comic-Con yesterday. Not surprisingly my better shots came from outside the main hall where I was least worried about being in everyone's way.

Spent the morning at RCCC with David and took some pictures. And something I realized is that photography is forcing me to be comfortable with possibly being perceived in public spaces. Even being at a con where *everyone* is taking pics I felt like I stood out whenever I raised my camera.

Downtown had a whole end of world vibe tonight with the heat, hazy skies, the street preacher, and police sirens blaring in the background.

Been on a Gregg Araki film watching spree. Just finished watching the Teenage Apocalypse trilogy and now on to The Living End.

Decided to hit up the Hawthorne Street Fair for a bit today and get some pictures. Photographing people isn't really my thing, but since there were so many people out I felt a lot less self-conscious about it.

I love being gay because you meet such a wide range of people just by being a bit slutty.

I’ve been wanting to post my photography on a separate non-Instagram site. Bluesky is fine but I don’t like how it lowers the quality of the posted image. Squarespace is too expensive even for a basic site. Wordpress was a bitch to navigate. So I guess maybe Tumblr?
