I beat Silent Hill f this morning. I really liked a lot of it and loved the game in most ways. The story was a bit *too* weird for me but typically eastern styles of storytelling aren't my jam. I did have to read an ending explained lol.

My random gaming thoughts NOT Related to Xbox: - Bring back Vectorman. He was cool. - Terrifier: The ARTcade Game can't release soon enough. - Helldivers and Dead By Daylight both need major performance patches. DBD needs an engine upgrade (again, it's a 10+ yr game) - Single player games rock.

My wife and I finished Midnight Mass. Great show.

Well, Outer Worlds 2 is right around the corner at this point. Pretty stoked for this one.

Silent Hill f continues to be fun but desperately makes me want more good third person action horror. I am going to tackle RE Village in third person for sure.

Rough day on the soccer field today. I let in three saveable goals which is frustrating. I played awful in game one and really didn't get the job done. I did recover and play a bit better in game two.

Thinking about the spookiest moments of video games for me all time and they come from the first Left 4 Dead. The witch crying and the zombie horde while in the cornfields at night. Honestly terrifying. No clue why the witch/crying conbo wasn't used more often in more horror games.

I did indeed turn off my renewal of @Xbox Game Pass. It's up in November 2026. A lot can happen between now and then, hopefully it does for the better. Steam or PlayStation look to be the direction now.

Doom The Dark Ages but with pumpkins and Halloween style enemies. 🎃 Game could easily become fast spooky if it wanted to. Matter of fact, I want fast spooky games. I did enjoy when MW2/3 had spooky skins and levels. That was fun. 🎃

First hour of Silent Hill f is pretty slow. I'm playing on Hard but I may drop down to normal. I'm liking it but it's just a touch slow so far.
