Two Democratic bills passed committee! @erikmuckey.bsky.social presented HB 1074 and HB 1075 to improve access to the state's free birth certificate and nondriver ID programs for the homeless. These are the programs @kadyn-wittman.bsky.social passed last year. Both bills now head to the House floor.

ICYMI: The SD House of Reps passed a bill today requiring websites with content deemed 'harmful to minors' to verify users' IDs before granting access. Just another day in the 'freest state in the nation,' where nothing says liberty like handing over your personal info to browse the internet.
