Trump has signed an executive order that states the federal government no longer explicitly prohibits contractors from having segregated restaurants, waiting rooms & drinking fountains. This is trumps way of ending DEI.

Longtime Houston Mayor & newly elected Congressman Sylvester Turner has died. Turner’s death comes at a critical time in Congress. Republicans have few votes to spare as they look to advance Trump’s agenda. With Turner’s safely Democratic seat vacant, Republicans now control 218 seats to Dems 214.

Trump slapped tariffs on Canada, so Canada applied counter tariffs on the US. Now he is having a tantrum & saying he’ll just match whatever retaliation they have. Did he think these countries weren’t going to respond to his tariffs? That was a stupid question, of course he doesn’t think.

Trump imposed 25% tariffs on most imports from Canada & Mexico & an additional 10% tariff on China. In retaliation, Canada hit the U.S. with 25% tariffs on $30 billion in goods just after midnight, though it did not specify which products were included.
