Harissa roasted carrots, farro and ranch baked chicken! Everything was so easy, fantastic effort to result ratio. I was dubious of the ranch chicken but dang it was good. Knew the carrots would be wonderful and they were. Next time I might make the carrots with lemon rice.

Confit (sort of) chicken and potatoes with roasted broccoli and sour cream & chive! Damn this was good. I mean DAMN. The confit used a lot of oil but the recipe says you can strain it and save it for other uses

The chicken is done! Well, almost done. I have to get it into a frying pan and crisp the skin without burning myself. That oil is literally boiling!

Question for not-old people: Does a thumbs-up reaction seem rude to you? My coworkers & I all thumbs-up constantly in Teams chat to indicate "I got it, will do, no need for further comment" but I read that younger people see the thumbs-up as rude/passive-aggressive and we're all old. Is it rude?

4 has been my favorite for decades. When I worked in a cube in an office with pen thieves I would hide them under stuff in my desk and have a decoy pen cup full of crap pens on top of the desk.

I randomly parked next to this car at the grocery store. Noticed the Rowsdower decal after getting out of my car. While in the store I realized I had paper & could put a “I wonder if there’s beer on the sun?” note on the windshield, but they were gone when I got back. What a missed opportunity.

Just had the weirdest experience: an electrician we'd worked with a few years ago just showed up at the house to say that a recommendation I'd written in the r/bullcity subreddit had brought him so much business he wants to give me free electrical work! My mind is kind of blown
