Trans women belong in women’s football. The bans on trans women imposed by the FA and SFA in the UK this week are all about exclusion, not fairness. They are reactionary, unjustified, and go against the very ethos of inclusion previously championed by the FA in particular.

Homophobia and transphobia have no place in football. Abuse is unacceptable. LGBTIQA+ players, administrators and fans all deserve better and must be able to be safe and respected, online and at the ground.
