Every city needs more bike counters. It's a great way to show that bike lanes are busy even when they appear empty. (And they often appear empty because cyclists don't get stuck in traffic.)

The Jan 2022 staff report about the Almon cycling network segment included these manual counts from Aug 2017. The numbers we are seeing now are 2-5x those. I'd like to compare other segments!

There was a tube bike counter on the Commons path closest to Welsford in 2018, from Sep to Nov or so. It was having days around 150. There has been measurable demand for comfortable, protected connections through this area for a long time.
